hi i am pcos and a over weight as well as hypo thyroidic. i was 69 lost quite a lot of weight became 60 with this diet and later over ate and now i am 75 i feel so diguisted with every thing i am sure i never had pcos before when i took this diet .but is this diet combined with later overeating the cause of pcos???
i really feel this is true . very scared and being pcos this diet is the toughest thing on earth to do pls let me know.

I started this GM diet and today is my 4th day. I am following the diet very strictly, drinking 10 glasses of water everyday and working out for 1 hour everyday but I have not lost a single pound in last three days. Is this normal???

My current weight is 137 pound and height 5'5''. I do 30-40 Min Yoga & Run or walk @ 4 miles per hour speed for 3 miles. This takes me around 45 min so all together i work out for 80 min.

Hi all,
I completed my 7days day before and lost 6 pounds but today I gained my 5 pounds back :(
I did not over eat after the diet still I gained weight returning to normal diet, should I have taken any steps to maintain the lost weight???

Colon hydrotherapy (aka enema) is a good idea in general. (Of course, like anything else, it should not be made into a habit.) So, I don't think you should worry about it being good or bad. Though, I am not sure if it helps more to do it before the diet!? Just asking...
I did it last week before I started the diet and was advised to continue for a further 3 weeks but I wasn't sure if it would affect any weight I was going to loose (bloating etc)

You might want to reduce the amount of workouts you do during the diet if you feel low on energy at any point. Generally, I would advise lowering the amount on day one, and gradually increasing every day. Your body needs to get used to burning your reserves, which happens only slowly. If you do not allow your body to get into that habit and perform strenuous exercises, you may feel very tired. You will want to avoid that.

- Day 5&6 ..being a non-veg but a hindu, i cant eat beef. hi guys.. its my 5 th day today n i feel 2kg less than the first day( started at 49).... it wasn't so difficult either to maintain the disciplined schedule in this diet.. for all those tea lovers.. you can consume 2 cups of tea( slim milk n without sugar).. i have an addiction to tea so i just couldn't resist!! today ill be having soya or sprouts with brown rice as i do not consume beef.. wonder soup was beneficial too and i am consuming it from day 1... just can't wait enough to see what 8th day morning has instore for me :)

You should not cook the tomatoes. Please consume them in the raw form. If your question was about whether you can consume the rice/tomatoes spread over the entire day - 2-3 times - please go ahead if it helps.

You can take fruits and vegetables in as much quantity you wish!
You many want to use moong, rajma etc.
Carrot is not a fruit - the only day juices are recommended are on day seven - which mentions fruit juices. You may consume juices on other days provided you do not throw away any part (by way of filtering, etc.), and consume immediately.
You can make the Wonder Soup without green pepper. Do not use carrots.
It's ok to make some concessions if you can not live without them - have a cup of tea in the way you like it, but only one in the day! :)

Luckily, this time, I have a colleague who is following this diet for the first time. Having someone partnering with you on a diet is a good motivator!
Just for the record, I go for daily morning walks, and play TT in office - physical activity helps! Also, I try to drink water whenever I can. Warm water when possible, normal water otherwise. My friend too says he feels light.
Am a first timer..n plan to start this diet..had a couple of questions
1. Can one have sweet corn, mushrooms and peas on the vegetable day (and/or for the wonder soup)?
2. How can the Chicken/Mutton be cooked for day 5/6?
3. How much oil and salt can be used for cooking vegetables/chicken?
4. Can other spices like pepper, aamchoor, jeera etc be used for cooking?

Don't expect wonders (in terms of weight) in seven days. But yes, do expect wonders in terms of realization of how much better you feel, the fact that you will start eating lesser (and still adequate for you), and combine this with good physical activity. Drink lots of water even afterwards, have seasonal fruits in plenty, eat on time and never eat late/heavy in the evening. You will slowly find that you will attain your health/weight goals!

I suggest you go with the lentils option. You can prepare sprouts easily at home. The method is as follows:
One day (to 1.5 days in the winter season) before you want the sprouts ready, soak the grains in water (ensure enough water).
After about 12 hours, drain all the water, and wrap the grains in a clean, dry cloth and place it in some warm corner (covered, if possible, to keep it warm.)
I was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and thyroid (which really lessens the chances of conceiving). I am overweight, also because of this problem and desperately trying to lose some weight. Does anyone know if I can go for the GM diet in this condition, will it affect or escalate my problem further? And if this diet will help me lose weight? Because I have gone thru GM Diet before and it did help me lose like 5 kgs but that was when i didnt have this problem. Will it work the same now as well?
Can someone please guide me here. It will be highly appreciated.

I Being doing this Diet for once in three months....& it makes me feel light & healthy....
Even being regular to this diet ... I always find Second Day of Diet the toughest....
