Gandhi on vegetarianism

Vegetarianism is simply another way of life - a lifestyle choice. Many people believe in it and feel strongly about it. Many do exactly the opposite. Being a vegetarian, one can predict what my views would be like.

Many a famous people are vegetarians by choice - with their own reasons for this style of living. Gandhiji was amongst one of the most influential people to have experimented with and commented on extensively on vegetarianism. So, before one passes any judgement on vegetarianism, it would be apt to read someone who has seen both sides and recorded experiences and views extensively.

Here are two more links I came across commenting on Gandhi's views

Read and make your own judgements!

Re: Loose motion

Hi.

It is indeed normal for some people to experience loose motions during this diet. Unless there's some other reason behind it, loose motions are one of the responses the body has towards this diet as a method of cleansing your digestive system. You might experience 3-4 motions during the course of the day. If it's more, then please consult a doctor immediately as the reasons might be elsewhere.

Best wishes.
