Heavy activities like workouts and jogging should be avoided. Think of it this way - in simple terms - such activities need good bursts of energy, and the body is in short supply of nutrients like glucose needed for such bursty activities. Moderate activities like walking should be fine.
The body has enough reserves for normal activities, but not for bursty ones.

You may use salt - the only thing you should keep a watch on is the total intake. Especially since there's no limit on the amount of the soup you can have. I have two suggestions:
Make use of both the standard sea salt, as well as black salt
Ensure that you drink your daily quota of water, as that should flush out excessive salt from your system.

A week long diet will not (and can not!) do wonders for anyone, especially over the long term, as the body would have been subjected to an unhealthy lifestyle for years. What the GM diet does indeed do is clean up primarily your digestive system and to lesser extent other systems. It prepares your body to be able to work better again, but is not of much use if the abuse starts again!
The primary take-away from this diet should be an urge to manage your digestive system well. And of course, exercises (even non-trivial amount of walking should help!)
* Drink lots of water, even when the diet is 'over'
* Do not eat late in the evening - always keep a margin of about 2-3 hours before sleep.
* Avoid 'heavy' foods in the evening.

No! Please don't. It's hard to put up a formula which decides who should or should not do it, but definitely not 10 year olds! Kids only need to play - and play well.
PS: So, how old are you really?

regarding the diet.
this is more of a question more than a comment. is it possible to continue your regular exercises during the diet, such as jogging and ab workouts?

Tea while on diet
You may drink a cup or two of tea as long as you do away with sugar and/or milk.
